Ayers Watch

"I don't think what we did was brilliant. Frankly,I don't think what anybody did was brilliant."

Bill Ayers, "Radical Cheer: Questions for Bill Ayers," New York Times Magazine, February 15, 2009.

And I was ready to write about the economic stimulus when Bill popped up like Freddie. What timing. I don't believe in liberal media conspiracies but the NYT has sure given Bill new life with the Op-Ed and now the celebrity softball questions. From the look of Bill in his radical gear, the style section is next.

Bill still hasn't admitted he made any mistakes by adopting a terrorist pose during the days of rage. His lastest avoidance strategem is saying that none of us anti-war protesters were brilliant, so don't pick on me. Nothing like hiding in collective stupidity, mediocrity, or whatever. One problem with this argument: non violent protest was brilliant.

Thank goodness that Bill liberates Obama from being tagged a liberal,"No, I see him as a moderate. If you look at his record, it's the record of a moderate, who indeed does know how to make compromises."

No compromises for Bill. "I think I am a radical."
